walking into carl shurz park i came across this character

he was practicing karate in the park

we got to talking and i asked him where he was from

he replied in the most stereotypical french accent you could imagine

"i am from france, i am a frenchman"

of course his name was jean-pierre

he said that he used to work for and hang with frank sinatra out in california

but he said he always came back to new york, and in the end it was where he stayed

when the weather is nice, he rides his bike to carl shurz park to feed the squirrels and practice his karate

until next time, jean pierre.
